Designed for in-ground pools and spas of all types and sizes, Super Pump features a large see-through strainer cover, super-size debris basket and exclusive service-ease design for extra convenience.

Like all Hayward products, Super Pump combines advanced technologies with high performance for quiet, efficient and dependable operation.

Super-Size 110-Cubic-Inch Basket has extra leaf-holding capacity and extends time between cleanings. Rigid construction with load-extender ribbing ensures free-flowing operation for heavy debris loads.

How a Hayward In Ground Pump Works


1. Exclusive, Swing-Aside Hand Knobs make strainer cover removal easy. No tools required... no loose parts... no clamps.
2. Lexan See -Thru Strainer Cover lets you see when basket needs cleaning. Test feature allows line pressure test to 40 psi.
3. All Components Molded of Corrosion-Proof PermaGlass XL for extra durability and long life.
4. Heat Resistant, Industrial Size Ceramic Seal. Long wearing, and 100% drip proof. For fresh or salt water use.
5. Heavy-Duty High Performance Motor with air-flow ventilation for quieter, cooler operation.
6. Uni-Bracket Mounting Base provides stable, stress-free support, plus versatility for any installation requirement. Adapts 48 and 56 frame motors.
7. Service-Ease Design gives simple access to all internal parts. Motor and entire drive group assembly can be removed, without disturbing pipe or mounting connections, by disengaging just six bolts.
8. Totally Balanced, Noryl High-Head Impeller provides high-volume output to accommodate even the most demanding installations, including pool/spa combinations and in-floor cleaning systems.
9. Super-Size 180 Cubic Inch Basket has extra leaf-holding capacity and extends time between cleanings. Rigid construction with load extender ribbing assures free flowing operation for heavy debris loads.
10. Rugged, One-Piece Housing, with full-flow ports, assures rapid priming and continuous operation.
